Como una muñeca y con varias de ellas, posa Avril Lavigne para la Revista Prestige.Se dice que Avril ha despedido a su manager Terry McBride de Nettwerk.Una fuente ha dicho: “Avril está esperando que su nuevo manager pueda ayudar a que su nuevo álbum sea más exitoso que el último”.Como se sabe, su último disco “The Best Damn Thing” vendió 5.4 millones de copias a nivel mundial, mientras que su previo LP del 2004 “Under My Skin” llegó a la espectacular cifra de más de 7 millones de discos en ventas.

Q Magazine realizó una entrevista a Avril Lavigne que resultó un tanto… chocante. No por las preguntas que la revista le hizo a la rubia canadiense, sino por las respuestas de Avril. Juzguen ustedes mismos:

Sobre su increíble éxito

“Vender 20 millones de copias de mi álbum no me ha afectado, pero ha cambiado ciertas cosas. No puedo caminar por un cuarto lleno de gente sin que volteen hacia donde yo estoy, ya sólo puedo comer en ciertos restaurantes donde sé que no me molestarán. Pero a fin de cuentas eso está bien, nací para esto y ahora debo aprender a lidiar con ello.”

La competencia

“Kelly Clarkson es hermosa y tiene una voz fantástica, pero yo tengo una imagen mucho más fuerte. Yo soy rebelde, a las chicas les gusta imitarme y canto de una forma muy particular. No soy fácil de ignorar.”

Su generosidad

“Soy una persona generosa. Cuando ocurrió lo del huracán, fui a mi armario, saqué 6 cajas de lo que pude, y le dije a mi asistente ‘¡Tómalo para los afectados por Katrina!’. También me gusta darle obsequios a la gente que trabaja para mí, especialmente a los que ganan poco.”

Si me odian es su problema

“Hay quienes me aman y quienes me odian, pero yo estoy conforme con mi manera de ser, y finalmente, eso es lo que cuenta. De cualquier forma, si me odias, tú eres el perdedor, no yo”.

Opinión de la dueña del blog;

Ya sé; admito que yo también me quedé un poco impactada, pero despues recapacité... ¿por qué será que Avril es TAN única? ¿con ÉSA personalidad TAN especial? Y así entendí todo: lo que a nosotros en verdad nos gusta de Avril Lavigne es su rebeldía, lo identificados que nos sentimos en sus canciones. ¿O me van a decir que nunca pensaron "Ella me está leyendo la mente"?

Con respecto a Kelly Clarkson, me parece una linda chica, pero no tiene la fuerte personalidad de Avril.

Y por último, quiero aclarar por qué subí esta nota tan chocante; para que no piensen que en este blog "todos pensamos que Avril es perfecta", "que es la persona más buena del Mundo". Porque, si hací fuera, no sería Avril... ¿o sí?
